It is nearing 1am Capetown time, but we are all here safe and sound, minus a few suitcases that are slated to arrive sometime tomorrow evening! Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us, and prayed for our safe arrival. A special thanks also to our prayer partners- your letters and notes are so encouraging!Everyone is here at the Team House getting settled in, and some have already found the endless supply of ice cream treats in the freezer downstairs! It is a breezy 60 degrees here and we are preparing for a long day tomorrow- a team breakfast at 8am, followed by church at King of Kings (where Pastor John Thomas of Living Hope preaches) and then over to Masiphumelele for their church service. After that we'll try to view Table Mountain, weather permitting.
With all the planes we've been on in the past 48 hours, it feels like we've been on this trip for forever even though we've just begun! Friends are being made, names are being learned by the AL & CA people, and we are all excited about what the Lord is going to do in us and through us this week as we minister to the people of Cape Town. Keep checking this site as pictures are updated, and teammates share their experiences in their own words.

I am so glad you all arrived safely although jet lagged. I know this will be a busy and exhausting time of work but I pray that through each task, God will bless the people of Fish Hoek and through that, you will also blessed.

We are praying for you all! This morning we were in church thinking about you all worshipping at King of Kings - what a fabulous worship service you must have had! We pray that all will go well in your days of service - especially as you start your duties and serving tomorrow.
